THE BRUJA STORy
Bruja Coffee Lab isn’t just another coffee company—it’s a personal reckoning, a commitment to raw truth, and a rebellion against the comfortable lies we tell ourselves. Born from a split and fueled by solitude, Bruja is about stripping away what’s unnecessary—no blends, no noise, just single origin beans that speak for themselves.
The Birth of Bruja
What started as a shared dream became a solo journey. After a split with the co-founder—who was also a partner in life—it seemed like the fire had gone out. People assumed the project was dead. But the truth was quieter and more resilient. In a small, cluttered garage, the passion didn’t die—it just changed form. The roasting continued. One bag at a time.
What Bruja Stands For
It all started with a perception—something almost witch-like. Rituals that felt unfamiliar, even strange. The name “Bruja” was born from that curiosity—the sense that what you see on the surface is never the whole story. As I dug deeper, I realized those rituals were not witchcraft—they were normal, human, layered. Coffee was the same way. At first, it seemed simple—just a drink. But the more I explored, the more I saw it was a world unto itself—a rabbit hole of origins, methods, and stories.
That’s why the logo—a door with stairs leading up to it—represents the journey into the unknown. Bruja Coffee Lab is about discovery. It’s about breaking through assumptions and seeing things for what they really are—often more complex and profound than you could have imagined.
